become a
travel agent

Word of mouth is the best advertising and people love to talk about travel, people will recommend you to others and you can build a client base from there, you can also advertise online or offline, reach out to clients you would like to work with and build as big of a client base as would like, if you feel you have no experience in this and would need help to build, this is something that you will get from being part of The Just Travel Group team.

how will i find clients to book travel?

More and more people are choosing to use independent travel agents for their bookings, it gives a personalised service at usually no extra cost to them so why wouldn't they? It is also supporting a small business or someone they know, rather than lining the pockets of big companies. Booking with an independent agent can mean we have more chance to making personal communication with hotels ensuring the best experience for stays too. In a ever changing world where it is difficult to speak to a human, people like that personal interaction.

why would people book with me?

If you are already going online to book your own travel then you are already doing it but just not being paid - which is silly right? There is commission built into everything you book so by becoming an agent you then have the ability to claim this commission back so it is literally a no brainer if you are booking your travel online yourself, you can also earn this commission back on any bookings you make so it is a great way to earn an additional income - Think 10-15% on all bookings you and your family / friends make in a year? Make sense right!

what are the benefits of me becoming a travel agent?

No not at all, if you have it then great but if not it isn't a problem as full. training is provided. We have people for all walks of life, all ages, genders, backgrounds, this business can work for anyone who is prepared to work at it.
We have previous travel reps, travel agents in the team but we also have teachers, vets, corporate workers, business owners, uni students, stay at home parents. Some with travel knowledge and experience and some just with a desire to level up their lifestyle.

do i need previous experience in the travel industry?

Anything and everything, a common misconception is that you can only use this for fancy big holidays abroad but that isn't the case, we can book UK staycations, lodge holidays, hotels stays anywhere in the world, package holidays, car hire, transfers, airport lounges, excursions, theatre tickets, hospitality tickets - the list is endless.

what kind of things can i book as a travel agent?

Yes, there is some mandatory training (around 4hrs) that is done online in your own time and can be done in stages whenever suits you. After that we have our very own training portal that breaks down all the next steps and sets you up to successfully run your own travel business, the beauty is that you can pick and choose what area you would like to train more or less in so if you would like to specialise in a certain area (Disney / Honeymoons/ Ski holidays/ Cruises) then you absolutely can and you can spend more time learning about those suppliers or destinations if you wish, or if you want to book a variety of travel we will help support you to get started with that.

is there any training involved?

Yes, the trainings mentioned above will set you up to be confident in making your bookings and as you get used to the systems, bookings become easier too.
Our team are all on hand to help, especially with those first few bookings to help you feel confident and then as you become more confident you will in time help others who are new and need guidance - it's our favourite thing about our teamies.

would there be any support for booking travel? i worry about doing it wrong!

There are no sales quotas or targets at all, you can sell as much or as little as you like - your business, your terms. The more you sell, the more you earn and that is upto you what you want that to be.

are there any sales targets i have to hit?

It is really upto you with how much you want to get from it, the more you put in the more you get out and that is beauty of it. This business is fully flexible, it can be done from anywhere at anytime so fits perfectly into pockets of time around your current commitments. The majority of our team work other jobs / have children or other responsibilities so it is something that is definitely doable. If you want to build bigger and earn more you can have a look where you could sacrifice anything? Swap  an hours sleep / a netflix series / pointless scrolling for something that is going to earn you money.

how much time do i need to dedicate to this?

become a travel agent

This is one of the most common misconceptions. A pyramid scheme is illegal and involves no actual products or services—just money exchanging hands. Our company, however, is legitimate because we sell high-quality products that people love and use every day.
Plus, let’s talk structure:
Every business (corporate or otherwise) is technically a pyramid - think CEOs, managers, and employees. The difference is, in network marketing, anyone can rise to the top based on their own effort, not on office politics.

is this a pyramid scheme?

A scam is when someone takes your money and gives nothing in return. Here, you’re investing in real products and a real business opportunity. Plus, this industry is regulated and operates within legal guidelines. If you’re open to learning more, I’d love to show you how it works.

i heard this is a scam...

Network marketing is a business model where individuals sell products or services directly to consumers and earn commissions not only on their own sales but also on the sales made by people they recruit into the business. The beauty of network marketing is that it’s about sharing, not selling. If you love a product and genuinely believe in it, you naturally recommend it to others - like telling your bestie about your favourite restaurant or TV show. That’s all we do.

i don't understand what network marketing is, can you explain it?

No, not at all, it is your business to do with what you choose, if you just want to book travel for yourself and other people that is absolutely fine, there is no pressure to recruit people but if you decide that is what you want to do the support is there for that too. There are no sales quotas or targets at all, you can sell as much or as little as you like - your business, your terms.

do i have to recruit people?

Actually, in network marketing, your success isn’t tied to someone else’s. If you put in the work, you can absolutely earn more than the person who introduced you to the business. That’s the beauty of this model - it’s based on effort, not hierarchy.

is it true only the people at the top make the money?

No, no contract at all, if you decide it isn't for you you can cancel at anytime.

is there a contract?

Network marketing is built for people with busy lives. Most of us start this as a side hustle and weave it into the cracks of our day - 10 minute pockets here and there. Plus, when you create a residual income stream, you actually gain more time in the long run because your money starts working for you.

how much time do i need to dedicate to this?

Many of our team are parents. Network marketing is one of the most family-friendly ways to earn an income. You can work from home, set your own hours, and even involve your kids in some aspects (hello, little product testers!). Plus, think of the example you’re setting - showing them what it looks like to build something amazing.

i have kids, will this work around parenting commitments?

None of us in the team are 'sales people'. The beauty of network marketing is that it’s about sharing, not selling. If you love a product and genuinely believe in it, you naturally recommend it to others—like telling your bestie about your favourite restaurant or TV show. That’s all we do.

i'm not a salesperson, do i need to sell?

You know more people than you think! But even if your circle is small, we teach you how to grow your network through social media, referrals, and community connections. It’s not about knowing everyone - it’s about building relationships with a few key people who want to grow with you.

i don't know enough people

We hear you - it’s tough when finances are tight. But that’s exactly why this opportunity is worth considering. Most businesses require tens of thousands to start, but here, you can get started for a fraction of that. Plus, we’ll work together to help you quickly earn back your initial investment, so you’re operating in profit.

I don’t have the money to invest

It might feel that way, but let’s think about this: is the coffee market saturated? What about fitness classes? People still buy from Starbucks and join new gyms every day. Why? Because each brand and person brings something unique to the table. You are your own brand, and no one can replicate you.

The market is saturated. is this a good time to start?

We get it; not every company is created equal, and sometimes timing or support just isn’t right. The good news is, you now have experience and know what you want from an opportunity. Let’s chat about how our team and tools are designed to set you up for success this time around.

I’ve done network marketing before, and it didn’t work.

Social media is an amazing platform to promote your travel business, plus it's FREE!
You don’t need a massive following to succeed. We’ll teach you how to show up authentically online and grow your audience organically. Plus, most sales come from connections and conversations, not from likes or followers.

do i need to be on social media to make this work?

Many people begin this as a side hustle to supplement their income. The beauty of this business is its flexibility - you can work it around your job, family, and other commitments. Plus, imagine what’s possible if you eventually decide to go full-time with this.

I have a full-time job. will this work for me?

It’s totally normal to come across mixed opinions—every industry has them. But instead of letting those reviews hold you back, why not experience it for yourself? I can connect you with real people who’ve had amazing results, so you can get a clearer picture of what’s possible.

I read some bad reviews online.

Network marketing is a personal development journey with a paycheck attached. The key is not to argue but to educate, inspire, and let people see the potential for themselves. Your confidence and belief will be the thing that wins people over every time. Let’s go change some lives!
